Woodland Advocates become an excellent reference for local resources. By dealing with forestry issues in their area, they become familiar with those who can be trusted. They get feedback from their neighbors about what works and what doesn’t. They make connections and facilitate the implementation of forestry plans. They can help coordinate group activities that benefit their neighbors such as invasive species control. They can help aggregate small otherwise unsalable parcels to get them thinned for the improvement of the remaining trees.
