Forester Visit

What do I have?

The first step to understanding how to take care of your woodland property is to know what you have. All woods are not the same. Some trees need full sun; some grow fine in the shade. Some trees only live 75 years while others can live 200 years or more. Foreign plants have become a problem as they crowd out native plants and prevent new trees from growing. Insects and diseases can kill your trees and destroy your woods.

A natural resource professional like a forester is trained to give you the information that you need to take care of your property. You need expert information and advice so you can make the best choices for your woods. It’s up to you to ask and only you can do it.
